Notes:
"Johannes Lang arrived in America in 1733 on the Charming Betsy, with his son John. In 1758 he received a land grant in the Abbotts Creek area of Rowan County (now northeastern Davidson or southeastern Forsyth County). One family history (Craver, see below) names his wife as Anna, but he was survived by a wife Elizabeth, who married Felix Motsinger as her second husband in 1790. Felix Motsinger's will refers to Susannah, John, Jacob and Frederick Long, children of John Long and Elizabeth. We are assuming here that Elizabeth is the mother of all the children." -http://users.erols.com/fmoran/motsinger.html
