Born: 22 FEB 1899 in Canton, Fulton Co., IL Notes: LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF WILLIAM R. ALLAMAN I, WILLIAM R. ALLAMAN, of Quincy, Adams County, State of Illinois, do make and publish this as my Last Will and Testament, hereby revoking any and all former wills by me heretofore made. FIRST: :iii hereby direct that my Executor hereinafter named shall pay all of my Just debts and funeral expenses as early as convenient after my death. I request that I be buried at the Sunset Cemetery of the Soldiers and Sailors Home at Quincy, Illinois. SECOND: I give, devise and bequeath all of my property, real, personal and mixed, of whatever nature and wheresoever situated, to my sister MARY E. PEEK, presently of Abingdon, Illinois, if she be living at the time of my death. THIRD: In the event that my said sister MARY E. PEEK should predecease me, I give, devise and bequeath all of my said property, real, personal and mixed, in equal portions, share and share alike, to the following named of my nieces and nephews, namely: MRS. MARY BELLE SHAW, presently of Granite City, Illinois; MRS. HELEN HENRY, presently of Galesburg, Illinois; MRS. CONSTANCE STERGIOS, presently of East St. Louis, Illinois; MRS. LORRAINE WOEHRLE, presently of Forrest Park, Illinois; MRS. ANNABELLE ELLISON, presently of Canton, Illinois; MRS. ZELMA WOODS, presently of Canton, Illinois; MR..CHRISTIAN ALLAMAN, presently of Canton, Illinois; and MR. CHARLES LEE ALLAMAN{ presently of Canton, Illinois; or to the survivors of said named nieces and nephews if any should be deceased. FOURTH: I hereby nominate and appoint my sister MARY E. PEEK as Executor of this my Last Will and Testament; or in case of her death or failure to qualify, my niece HELEN HENRY is appointed as such Executor; or in the case also of her death or failure to qualify, my niece MARY BELLE SHAW is appointed as such Executor; and I hereby request and direct that no surety be required on the bond of any of the above named as Executor. FIFTH: My Executor or her successor is empowered to manage and control my property, collect rents and any charges that may be due to me or to my estate; and whenever in the settlement of my estate the Executor or her successor shall deem it advisable, to convert all of my said property, real, personal and mixed, to cash, to sell at private or public sale at such price or prices as she shall think fit and proper for the best interest of my estate, and to execute good and sufficient deeds, bills of sale, and other instruments necessary or proper to convey and transfer such properties to the purchaser, the purchaser not being bound to see to the application of the purchase money, and the Executor or her successor shall make distribution according to the terms of this Will. IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I hereunto set my hand and seal to this my Last Will and Testament this 10th day of July A. D. 1962. ~ William R. ALLAMAN, as and for his Last Will and Testament, and at his request, in his presence and in the presence of each other, we have subscribed our names as attesting witnesses hereto. WE FURTHER CERTIFY that at the time of the signing of said instrument the said WILLIAM R.
