Angell settled in Greenwich, CT. He was one of the original patentees named in the parent granted to the town of Greenwich in May 1665.

Angell Husted was born in 1620 in Somerset England. He immigrated to America with his family in 1635. Angell Husted is listed as a landowner after settling in Greenwich Connecticut and he was one of the witnesses to the Indian deed of Greenwich, Old Town, to Robert Feaks and Daniel Patrick. He was also one of the original patentees named in the patent granted to the town of Greenwich in May 1665.
His name was on the list of men living in Greenwich Connecticut when the New Haven court compelled them to come under the legal jurisdiction of Stamford deputies William Law and Francis Bell. "There was no defining line between Stamford and Greenwich, so that in the records there sometimes appears a phrase defining a man's home as near or in one or the other…" Greenwich was not a well-knit community. Stamford and New Haven felt that "those settlers" were an undisciplined lot! No doubt, some men moved from Stamford to Greenwich seeking a measure of freedom from public scrutiny. Law and Bell prepared a letter, demanding a list of the male citizens of Greenwich. After ignoring the letter for as long as they could, the Greenwich men bowed to the inevitable and sent in their list in October 1656 and, thereafter, grudgingly accepted the fact that they were part of Stamford and under New Haven jurisdiction.
Angell Husted's will of 5 April 1706 lists his wife and sons Jonathon, Joseph, Angell Husted and daughter Elizabeth Baldwin, giving to each one (a) shilling "having already given to them and son Moses, 5 shillings, with the remainder going to his sons John and Samuel.
In the Greenwich Village tax list of 1695, Angell Husted is listed as having a "wealth" of 33 pounds, 10 shillings.

Angell Husted, son of Robert Husted, was born in England in 1620, He Settled in Greenwich CT., Died there in April, 1706; was a witness in July, 1640, to the Indian deed of Greenwich, Old Town, to Robert Feaks and Daniel Patrick, and was one of the original patentees named in the patent granted to the town of Greenwich, in May, 1665; married Rebecca Sherwood.
There is a marker near the cemetery of the Second Congregational Church, which says "site of the house of Angell Husted"; he was one of 27 proprietors in 1672.
