Notes:
He purchased 1769, 100 acres of land for which he paid in Penn. currency; and the same year purchased the adjoining 300 acres for which he paid in Virginia currency. These lands adjoined the lands of the late Lord Thomas Fairfax. These were later bought of his lordship by "Major" Caspar Rinker, sold and given in dowry for the marriage of his daughter Elizabeth to Jacob Allomong, Sr.

Jacob Allemong 2nd 1790 gave portions of his land to sons Jacob, Sr. and Christian. Thereby we can see the building of the large plantations of one family.

Jacob Allemong, m. Elizabeth Rinker
Jacob Allemong Sr. was born in 1754 in Whitehall Township, Northampton County, Pennsylvania. He was the second child of Jacob Allemong and Elizabeth Barbara who came to Virginia in 1768, according Frederick County court records. His wife was Elizabeth Rinker, daughter of Major Casper, 1727-1804, and Mary Maria Schultz Rinker, 1731-1828. She was born on 6-Nov-1761 in Pennsylvania and died in 1848.
Jacob Allemong Sr. was a wagonmaster and shoemaker by trade. He was a wagonmaster for the Continental Line of Virginia all through the American Revolutionary War for which he was awarded 25 pounds, 16 shillings in Court of Frederick County, Virginia 1783. His father, Jacob, was also a patriot furnishing horses and food for the army of George Washington. Public Service Claims Commissioner’s Book 11 68 1940, Monday, September 1, 1783. “Jacob Allemong for wagon hire for the Continental Army as of debts. Court of Frederick County Virginia. Awarded 25 pounds, 16 shillings.”
Jacob Allemong, Sr. was found dead on Timber Ridge road in Frederick County, Virginia on March 8, 1808, in the 32nd year of the Commonwealth, so states the records in Frederick County Court, located in the Virginia State Archives. A jury, composed of neighbors was appointed to study the cause of death and they determined that it was by natural causes, “died by the visitation of God.” The presiding Justice of the Peace was John McCoole; jurors: Patrick Reynolds, Henry Heironimous, Thomas Collins, Reason Mason, Jacob Grove, Henry Grove, John Newland, Jacob Null, William Lawson, Joseph Ware, Samuel Wright and Jacob Heironimous. The inquisition was held on 23-Mar-1808.
Casper Rinker gave and sold in dower, for his daughter, some 400 acres of land on Timber Ridge to Jacob Allemong, Sr. This ground became land given by Jacob, Sr. to his son Jacob Allemong, Jr., 1784-1872. Jacob, Jr. later sold this ground to his uncle, Jacob Rinker of Frederick County, Virginia. The record of the sale indicates that “no Allemong is to have any part of the ground or any of its outhouse and etc.”
