She went by Marie or C. Marie. Marie was a true saint. She was a deeply devoted Christian woman. She loved every member of her family, both close relative or distant relative. She took in anyone who needed a place to lay his or her head or food to eat. I assume this is because she grew up trying to protect her brothers as much as possible when they were orphaned. She wouldn't let anyone separate her brothers from her. Being a young female in the early 1900's with no parents around, this speaks volumes for her character. She never complained or hated her childhood. She was a strong and caring woman. She didn't grow up with her parents but she knew whom they were. I am not sure if she knew early in life or did not find out until later. Later in life, her mother Susan Cooper came to IA many times from MT. Marie went to visit her as well.
