He married Barbara Morgan, daughter of Janus and Mary "Mollie" Davis Morgan. THey had twelve children and Mollie died after the birth of the last one in Rowan County, NC. Benjamin Wright then married Martha in North Carolina. They visited Indiana in 1822, settling in Marion County. His youngest son, Adam Wright (1804-1851) was the first Federal Judge at Indianapolis.
