This is a listing of some of the Allamans that were identified by Durward B. Allaman during his 42+ years of Allaman Research. This list includes many Allamans that were found in the birthplace of our ancestor, Jacob Allemong, St. Stephan, Canton Bern, Switzerland. The family links to these names cannot be proved, but are listed here for posterity.

Aleman, Pierre son – grand – pere, chevalier, que portait de sable a lion d’argent consonne et ariel de guelus, extant vassal des aus de thoice et Villais pour sa chatelline d’Arbeat. De son manage avec Petronille Chataul it eut un fils. Jean Alleman, seignor d’Arbent et de Coisdet. Ain, are Nantua, Canton d’Oyonnaz.
