After the Alemanni, the castle belonged to Knight Bayard until 1630 when the castle was passed by marriages to family Boffin and Marquise de Gautheron who died 1828 and left the castle to his nephew, Comte de Saint-Ferriol. His sons did not have any children and the castle was inherited by his niece Ghislaine de Feligonde.1

1936 the castle was rent by Mr. Thon and it was supposed to become a museum and a hotel. In 1940 it had to be given to the French army to be used as "l'école des cadres et libéré," a school for French officers. All the treasures of the castle were given to the museum of Musée Dauphinois by de Feligondes. In 1977 the castle was for sale and it was bought 1978 by Madame Templeton. (The price was 620 000 FRF !) She decided to change the castle into private apartments. She got the permission for the construction work from the commune of Saint-Martin d'Uriage only after ten years of negotiations. The construction work is still ongoing.2
